Pre Xmas storm

Euro was intriguing ...  At 24 hours it has the 850mb isotherm immediately astride the St. L. seaway, cutting through N. Me, but then 48 hours later, it's been compressed S to roughly N. VT to PWM.  Then at 72 hours the main wave in the GL has decayed to a more amorphous PP, with a "love-heart" construct where  damming is almost down to the MA/NH border...

That's a cold solution for CNE and maybe into the RT 2 region of N-NE Mass

Yeah - I was gonna it actually looks colder.  But I could be mistaken.

Think I'm out of the woods down here, but still never hurts to be prepared :)

Yup--in the case of extreme southern movement, you're eastern location (relative to here) could allow for a little freezing at the end.  But even the worst scenarios would not have anything more than that.

I suspect we won't be hearing from Dendrite, Jeff, and Eric for many days.

35.2/29 with rn- most of the afternoon ftl.

Welp, I gave in and bought a generator.  When I bought the house in July I told myself the first thing I'd buy is a generator.  Well, you know how that goes when you move in ... many other pressing needs.  But the writing is on the wall here ... gon' ice and power will almost certainly be lost.

What I wouldn't give to be in your spot right now...I mean honestly this is the type of weather we look forward to.

Well in their defense, the euro does not come into their system until the predawn package is sent out. I don't see anything wrong if they decide to hit it harder further south in the aftn package instead of the earlier morning update.. You don't want to hit it hard, pull back, and then hit it hard again. Best to just gradually adjust and ramp up if need be. It's never easy when literally 5 miles could mean rain or damaging ZR.

Oh I agree with that. I wasn't aware EURO is delayed in their system... Yes like many storms here in Maine a few miles could mean a huge difference.
