OF PIKE Posted December 21, 2013 Share Posted December 21, 2013 Btv wrf continues the trend of cold air bleed into ne mass around 7am (when 40 isotherm sinks s to a Winthrop-Fitchburg line ) and By 1pm the 35f isotherm is from revere to wawa and freezing temps look possible from n essex to NE orh county. Luckily over here in the valley on the east side of the mountain, its 34F so we are avoiding ice but also avoiding huge melt at the moment. Probably three straights days at 50+ because the cold is slow to come in Monday. The warmth has pushed way up into northern NY and VT at elevations. 50 here now and snow is going fast. But that looks futile now with 50's across the whole area eating it up.
