TauntonBlizzard2013
It may briefly start and end as flakes, but mostly toast there. Lame, I'll take my lumps over the next week. Then hopefully we turn the corner and get some good threats around here
wxeyeNH
Your sig overwhelms any content in your posts....seriously. I'd pick something with a smaller graphic. I'd second that. CoastalWx
How much for the Sunapee region Scott? Enough to make the ski areas look nice? Probably 1-2 if it works out like I think it will up there.
CoastalWx
BOS is tricky tomorrow. The airmass is real cold aloft. If this comes in with a strong band of precip, BOS could easily be a 34F snow.

If this comes in with a strong band of precip, BOS could easily be a 34F snow. I could see the Cape doing that as well, question is if the main band of precip develops, 12z GFS was very light with precip.
dryslot
GFS is an outlier toss it
jamesnichols1989
Yeah my best bet is that the GFS is garbage, because the RAP model is seeing the moisture over SC as well, compared to the GFS which doesn't. Good moisture plume on the water vapor imagery in the GOM.
MainePhotog
Merry Christmas everyone! Feeling truly blessed that power has been restored. Many others still in the dark. WWA for 4"-6" of snow tomorrow here on the midcoast. 12.6°F
jamesnichols1989
Its in the low 20s here and dry as main band of OES is now over eastern Plymouth county.
jamesnichols1989
18z GFS is trash, doesn't pick up on the moisture over SC both the NAM and RAP show.

CoastalWx
GFS is cold though. You could argue snow for BOS in that.

CoastalWx
There is a chance a finger of snow moves into SE MA and into BOS late tomorrow morning. The meso models kind of show this and it's a result of warm low level air riding north and creating some instability. Maybe c-1"? I can't really disagree with the idea...maybe the placement of this wavers..but the idea seems sound to me.
Tornadomachine
Whole bunch of cold rain inbound of the GFS for the eve of new year's eve. Support for a coastal on the Euro too. Of any interest, or does the warm keep snow dreams down? Lotta moisture there though, and the column is pretty darn close to freezing...
CoastalWx
The euro argues for maybe some snow in the Monads or something...but it's basically void of any real cold in the lower levels. Almost reminds me of an ugly 1998 style srn stream system. I suppose there is a chance of a stronger offshore track that wraps colder air in quicker..but looks ugly.
