PineHillsWx
Just finished a drive from Hartford to Pepperell, Ma. I-84, the Pike, 290, 190 and rte 2 all were slick, especially 190. The secondary roads are really icing up quick. It's just so cold it doesn't take much at all to glaze the roads over. I am 52 years old and lived in Massachusetts my entire life. This is one of the coldest (sustained) early Decembers I can remember. We'll have close to 20 inches OTG after today if all goes according to plan with a 2 inch layer of solid ice on the bottom of the It is too bad it looks like it is going to be so warm late this week. I wish we could have held onto this pack through the Holidays......hoping for a miracle and only a minor warm up.
