ORH_wxman
Oh, and I just passed 1" of 3sm -sn. Wow did models completely blow here. Not even 0.1". Yeah that was something not picked up well at all....what a bust in SE MA.
CoastalWx
Careful . How much do you have? Careful?. Probably at least 6 now. Playing catch up from that stupid sucker hole.
CoastalWx
The RAP showed that sucker hole, but it looked like it would fill on quick. I certainly did not expect that. Getting back to BOX. I also know the timing played a role too. High impact event. It's all about mesoscale banding. Stuff like that separates 8" from 5". Good stuff. Clinch Leatherwood
Ray about to get it again. Whole south shore is about to rip. Winds SE in Falmouth, NW along the north shore of buzzards bay. At least the wind shift if not an extension of the low moving along the canal. Going to rumble pretty good NW of it for awhile. kdxken
It will not be denied. One last Fall day before the plunge. Unfortunately a day or two late to late for my poor cousins. Tough time of year for a burial. Filled the oil tank today, holy crap 200 gallons FTL. Lot of that going around recently unfortunately.
TauntonBlizzard2013
Just passed 2 inches here. This last band that came through at least made this respectable. Looks like less down by the mall where I just was. Splitting hairs though. This is payback for being like 10 miles from the epic dry slot in March and racking up two feet
CoastalWx
The WSW also will prove >50& cvg too. I definitely questioned the extent..but they'll nail it.

Clinch Leatherwood
BTW the late night stuff...18z NAM had a good handle on the position of this precip to our south. Maybe it was a smidge too far west. NAM brought that up over the cape at least as returns later tonight but what interested me more was the 8h winds..like many of the other models may kick some OES bands off later. If we got lucky they could produce.

Hopefully some good storms in the next month while I'm home. ORH has been racking up the snow this year an last.
ORH_wxman
Deepest pack this early since 2003. 2007? I think BOS had 10.6" and like 8" back to back for 12/13 and 12/16.
CoastalWx
2008 before the rain on 12/21 was deep. Deeper than this.
weathafella
S+ now back up from moderate. This new (and perhaps last meaningful?) band setting up shop. I'm calling 8+ Boston area. Great positive bust if that verifies and I think it will.

Baroclinic Zone
Yeah that was something not picked up well at all....what a bust in SE MA. There were hints of it but not to this level. EH, whatever, it bothers me more that I busted in my thoughts than missing on what is N of here.
wx2fish
2008 before the rain on 12/21 was deep. Deeper than this. I don't remember how much I measured in 08 but I know it was deeper here than it is now.
