HIPPYVALLEY
My poor wife is driving from Cambridge to JP which is normally 30-40 min at this time of day and she's 2 hrs and counting, probably about 10 minutes away. Total disaster on the roads. She said when she drove over the Mass ave bridge all she could see was snow - no sign of Boston or Cambridge on either side. Sorry to hear that, not fun. I think it was the Dec 2005 disaster commute where it took my neighbor an hour to drive from Kendall Sq to Harvard Sq!

TauntonBlizzard2013
sucker hole holding strong. confidence waning on anything meaningful coming out of band skirting s coast. this will go down as a huge bust for me, nws and the models. NWS call 4-6" Mine 3-5" Models were in the 0.25"-0.4" QPF. Have a little over an inch here. Totally hosed

mattb65
Low 40s on the elbow of the cape, low 30s still up by PVC. Really feel bad for the RI/ SEMA suckerhole, but very glad that I was just on the good edge of it and stayed pretty much SN+. Wife finally made it home safely - 3 hr commute - total disaster roads were mostly unplowed including major city roads like Mass ave and Huntington, very slippery. Still SN+ here, down from the past 30 mins of SN++ where I could barely see the house 2 doors down.
