RitualOfTheTrout
Damn thing fell apart right over my house, check the part of westmoreland that sticks into Allegheny. I was outside waiting and waiting and nothing happened, just some flurries and a light snow shower.

Burghblizz
I see signs of the Lake Michigan streamer idea that was discussed, but it looks too frail to get here and provide anyone with a sustained batch of snow. We'll see how that and the other lines develop
RitualOfTheTrout
Dude are you serious. That sucks. Yeah, worst part is I've been watching the line on radar since like 2:30 lol. Oh well, we've all been there, it just usually summer thunderstorms. I'd be curious to know what caused that to happen. Looks like a secondary line is building in behind it. Maybe I'll catch someting out of that.

nat
I don't post often, but let me tell you, I was coming home from Southpointe, heading to Carnegie, just as that squall line hit. I'd just gotten onto 79 and visibility dropped REALLY fast. I couldn't see 50 feet ahead of me, eventually I just pulled off to the side of the road until it passed. If I hadn't been driving I would've loved that.
RitualOfTheTrout
Second band is pounding me now, been going strong for about 15 minutes. Starting to ligthen up now, but the wind is really whipping. Had to come inside cause my face was starting to burn lol. I don't think it was as intense as the first one I missed but it was pretty impressive. Where do I sign up to get a couple hours of this sustained! north pgh
The second one went through here with strong winds. I picked up an additional inch with the last 2 squalls. 5 inches for the day. Not to bad. Temp has fallen 6 degrees from 25 to 19 in the last hour.
