3-4 so far I would say. Impossible to measure accuarately though as mentioned earlier with blowing snow and previous snow pack. That snow hole that the models were showing was evident on the radar this morning, although I do think it was a bit SE vs models.

Very nice wintry day! Funny how 20s feel warm lol.

Actually you are wrong, look at the radar, Cleveland will be in the clear within the hour and the density is breaking up. We will be seeing the sun by 4.

From NWS discussion:

MINOR ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE TO THE FORECAST TO INCREASE SNOW

AMOUNTS ALONG THE I80 CORRIDOR AND A SMALL AMOUNT ELSEWHERE.

LATEST WV IMAGERY SHOWS JET MAX BEYOND THE DOWNSTREAM INFLECTION

POINT AND JUST ENTERING THE BASE OF THE TROUGH THAT IS DRIVING

TODAY`S WINTER WEATHER. WITH THAT...WOULD EXPECT THE TROUGH TO

DEEPEN ONLY A SMALL AMOUNT WHILE SWINGING EAST...WHICH WOULD PUT

THE FORECAST UNDER THE DIFFLUENT AREA ASSOCIATED WITH THE JET FOR

THE MAJORITY OF THE DAY. AT THIS POINT THE CURRENT ADVISORY STILL

LOOKS SUFFICIENT...BUT EXPECT MOST LOCATIONS TO SEE STORM TOTAL

AMOUNTS ON THE HIGHER END OF FORECAST RANGES BASED ON LATEST

GUIDANCE AND OBS TRENDS.

I highly doubt we see the sun today... snow may start breaking up and scattering out by late afternoon or evening but partly cloudy skies look unlikely. Are there obs from Western Ohio that have clear skies or something? Just curious what reasoning is behind your comment.

so what time are these squalls scheduled to push through? Of course I will most likely be out in the roads around then if they hit us.

Yeah, I think we escaped that for the most part in the metro.

The 20's do feel warm.

After shoveling and walking to the store, I was sweating pretty good by the time I got home.

Some of those drifts were 6" +.

Everytime the snow starts to lighten up it just seems to rebuild right over head. Pretty impressive.

Probably the best region wide storm of the season, no temperature problems for anyone, combine that with an all day light to moderate snow and you have a nice little event for everyone.

You can see that squall line in central OH getting more organized. Hopefully it keeps building as it moves towards SWPA.

Almost like some deform action trying to hang on, before the squalls get here.

No idea how much snow down here, looks somewhere between 2 and 3 inches.  I forgot to clear off my board before the snow and I don't think we've had any melt since the Monday storm.  Right now it looks like the little snow we receive tomorrow into Monday will be the last snow for a week or more (depending on temps).

If there is a warm up in Early Feb, it may be short-lived as the pattern reloads.  At least one can hope.  Maybe we can get some southern stream energy with the cold in Feb.

So once this squall line moves out. Is that the end of the snow for today?

Should be the end of the steady snow I would think, except for those lucky enough to get under that band from Superior. Probably some scattered snow showers for everyone shortly after it goes through, but the story will be winds and droping temps at that point.
