gkrangers
Been snowing very nicely on the UWS of Manhattan for the last 30-45 minutes. While snow depth isn't an accurate gauge, I'm sure actual accumulations will be at least 2"-3" by the end of the snow today.

gkrangers
Looks like snow/mix line running paralle to I-78 in N, then through Staten Island and into southern Brooklyn per correlation coefficient radar out of KDIX.

I had to head up to Columbia yesterday and was amazed at how much more is on the ground up there vs. here in Queens. And yes, fully expecting those 2-4" calls to verify... mikemost
Anybody from W Essex/Union county reporting? Little further west here. I'm in Whippany. Moderate snowfall now for the past hour. Bordering on heavy for a few minutes. I'm just eyeballing, but looked like we had a solid inch from the first wave, appears that we've picked up another from the second wave already. Looking at 3-4" total, looks quite nice out there.
