LongBeachSurfFreak
Just north of the southern state must have stayed around freezing today. At Hofstra ice remnants in the trees. Nothing of the sort down here. Looks like the coastal front has been likeing an area a few miles further south then the normal lie. As much as it sucks to live south of that line it's is always fascinating. Not to many places in the noth east with micro climates In such a small area (obviously not including elevation) essentially nothing left here close to the bay ( south of the northern most canals) maybe a few tenths left and hardly a drop of ice
IntenseBlizzard2014
I have to say the NAM actually did well Let's hope the NAM will stay that way for the rest of the season, at least.

NorthShoreWx
About 6" for the season here in Long Beach. Jeez JM, I only have an inch and a half more than you for the season. It did help keep a little of the snow that we only got above freezing for 45 minutes today (33) although it wasn't helpful that it rained for that 45 minutes. Quite the N-S gradient. BDR high was 23, here was 33, ISP was 35, and Fire Island may have been in the 40s. Here is our icy street this evening:
