Emmett Brown
I'm 5 miles inland where it is 31° with -ZR. Same conditions here. Driveway and sidewalk are rapidly becoming very icy... had trouble walking the dog! Getting out the ice melt pellets...
Ottawa Blizzard
Says WxBell on the bottom This made me laugh out loud. Still, many of Ryan Maui's maps are good. Perhaps we should call this thread "for whom the weatherbell trolls" (as opposed to Hemmingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls). In all seriousness, thanks for posting the maps blizz. Geos
34 (according to my car hah!) and drizzle here I'm also 5 miles from the lakeshore I was out and about up to 15 miles inland. Colder air is draining in from the north. No ice here though yet.

Flight is tentatively scheduled to come into Pearson at 5 to midnight. If it's cancelled, welp, that'll suck.

kevlon62
Just got back from dinner in Johnsburg. A touch of fog and 33 with light ZR along the way. Driveway was iced over enough to get on the ABS.

Going from Edmonton to Toronto it's only 3 and change because of the jet stream. It'll be interesting to see what the precipitation starts at in Toronto. It's RA or FZRA currently at London and Hamilton. Here, the 0c 850 line is cutting right through the city. Could go either way.

Gonna be a messy day tomorrow for your arrival back to the city. Stay safe man!
snowstormcanuck
Pearson reporting -SN. Based on the traffic cams it's very wet and possibly mixed with rain. Not dropping visibilities much.
wisconsinwx
Driveway covered with ice, though many of the main roads were relatively safe and just wet. Still, there were many risk-takers going at or over the speed limit.

The weather station at UW has recorded 1.4mm of liquid in the last 1.25 hours. It's very light pixie dust type snow, but it's falling fast and it was enough to soak my jacket. Idk, the differences between both these stations intrigues me all the time. Yeah I have a nice coating everywhere. Sidewalks/roads are all covered. And its coming down nicely. More convectivey looking returns upstream which makes me believe its RA/ZR.
