tombo82685
Im curious, how do you identify confluence on a map? Im assuming you would have to first start off looking at the h5 maps? Any information would be greatly appreciated since it seems like this has been affecting a lot of storms so far in the n mid atl and northeast. Tombo, if you look at this blog and go down to the discussion of the Dec 19th and Feb 5th storms last year, you'll see where I've pointed to confluence and described what you look for. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/capitalweathergang/2010/11/why_was_last_year_so_snowy_par_1.html
