HoarfrostHubb
Glad I have been So bearish on this system for 2 days. Said 1"-2" and I'm still feeling it now that the GFS has caved back to 3" strung out over a long period again. The radar is as dead as the Patriots Defense. Everything will melt by Christmas (AS Per USUAL almost every year) then hopefully post-Christmas we can start to have a big winter, as we're only going into it with 10"-15" for most. Not a good first chunk of the season. Buck up, Cory!
SouthCoastMA
I think their map is fine. Long as my temps hang low enough. I do think there are going to be boned zones though. South shore near the water up through Seacoast of NH is going to rock. Down here if this 5 o'clock band can stay snow we will hit their totals quickly Building nicely south of LI currently. That will cross us with heavier rates.
Baroclinic Zone
wow...just saw the BOX map/warnings. not sure what to say. Was wondering when they were going to up totals. Makes sense now.
Damage In Tolland
Man look at radar exploding over SE NY, NE PA and Li. All heading NE. Rap was def the leader on that
Clinch Leatherwood
Disagree. HRRR especially is trimming back every run. 3-5" looks good to me with a few spots hitting 6" in eastern NH / NE MA. It looks better this run 15z in eastern areas. More consolidated. 7-8 hours out

Sey-Mour Snow
why do we put so much in the HRRR.. we all remember it gave parts of CT 20" one run on saturday afternoon during saturday nights sleet fest.. totally inconsistent and unreliable.. Damage In Tolland
Does that stuff clip you? Probably too far East for me.it moves up over the whole area. 3-6 for all of SNE as mets have been saying with higher totals near ORH

Clinch Leatherwood
I've got no problems with the box map. Map be a little too far west on the extent but it's going to pound in NE ma and maybe down thru boston to Braintree etx and back to Will. That band that rips over the cape at 5 with hopefully heaxy snow wraps up into northeast ma.

dryslot
better than rain. Look real real icy up here, Rain at 35 won't do much but moisten up the pack

Rap much better and like the 4km nam it pounds a good band into ema that will put down some significant snows. Will have to watch the next 2-3 hours and I do think the extent west is probably overdone on the map but I could easily see Boston N and NNe 4-8. South coast through ri and Kev is problematic. May well be too high there with most missing. Should be one band up around Boston and another cutting near us. In between not much
CTWeatherFreak
Strongest echoes appear to be skirting south shore LI headed to se RI.

mattlacroix4
Here comes warnings for tonight. Anyone else think 3-8 inches in Portland is pretty humorous? Kind of like saying, we are leaning, but haven't quite decided to budge on 4-8 to hoist the flags.
Clinch Leatherwood
Phil if we can get that band that is forming to camp out over the cape tonight you may get dumped on. Looks to me like it may scrape out east of you but it's also starting to bend back near dca right now.

bristolri_wx
There might be temp issues at the south coast. There are some reports of mid 30's with rain down on Long Island. Wondering if that moves up into S CT/S RI/SE MA...
