WinterWxLuvr
Last, and most likely final, measurement was 3.25. I think the snow is over out here. Hoping the precip ends soon before any rain decides to fall.

WVclimo
You look like you're in a good band. Hope it continues for you. I just flipped from snowballs falling from the sky to a sleet shower in an instant. Got my first winds of the day with it too.

Stormpc
I got jipped on the precip as well. In precip hole all day, then just a few minutes of sleet, 2 hours of rain and it looks over.I'd be pissed if it was supposed to be all snow and I got next to nothing so there is a silver lining I guess

snowfan
Thank you guys for posting your obs. No need to shy away and keep all the fun in the PA forum. Was very tempting to go to my parents today for a visit and to enjoy the snow, but already had plans.
Jebman
I enjoyed light rain most of the day. I saw sleet mix with it in midafternoon. Congrats on the snow to anyone who got some. The light rain did melt some of the snow, but the high was only 38. The north side of sunlight blocking objects still has a good deal of snow cover. ACFD FIREMAN
Great day in Middleburg VA. Went out there with my girl for a late lunch and it was snowing throughout the afternoon....beautiful setting. Went to the Red Horse Tavern and the snow started ripping and accumulated about a half inch until switching over to rain around 1730.

wxmeddler
The snowplow just came through and cleared off all the snow. Now it's freezing rain on a bare surface that has been sitting under snow for 5 hours and it's 27 degrees. Oh boy! I'm going to go put on my skates! I never would have thought yesterday you'd be getting zr up there just goes to show, w/o blocking, a northward shift is inevitable w/in 24 hrs; it's when you have blocking that you have a chance that things will shift south w/in 24 hrs (not that it's a guarantee, just that you have a chance)

ravensrule
whenever I see a report and it says "trained spotter", all I can think of is an Irish Setter Lol, i think they consider Kevin a trained spotter so it may not be that accurate after all.
