Chicago WX
Don't know I'm really breaking it down, being the GGEM...but safely pluie here at 120 hours. That's as far as she goes on that particular p-type map.
The_Global_Warmer
I would bet the GEM is to warm.

Hoosier
00z UKMET looks like a track near the consensus. Perhaps just a little north of the GGEM given the 144 panel.
Chicago WX
GGEM drills STL with freezing rain after 120 hours per the meteogram. Yeah, I think they get it good. Meteocentre p-type maps updated. Looks like mix up to the south side of Chicago at 132 hours, snow to the west/north. 100% rain for LAF. Probably a relatively cold rain at that. I'll be interested to see the total accumulation maps when they come out to see how far away it is. Oh, and ...nice little speck near us
Harry
Yep...At least that's becoming a bit more consistent as time goes by...for now that is. Yep.. Trick is ( for me it is ) getting it fully inside of 120hrs. Just about there with that. Sure we may still see some subtle shifts but it should be nothing extreme as far as track goes. Ofcourse even a few miles can make or break someone in this kind of set up especially with the ice threat looming large.

We do cold rain well.

It also helps that what will be the main (southern stream) wave is sitting over Alaska, and the network up there.

Harry
Keep us updated, I wasted my evening on the Lions and I mind as well stay up now. Will do.. Good to see you. Not gonna lie.. Watching this model slowly roll out i imagine is like waiting to see if the judge is gonna give you the death penalty or give you a large settlement of millions. Hoosier
Wave going negative tilt on the 00z Euro at 120 hours. I think this run might try to come north modestly but we'll see.

Maybe just enough to get the max band into Chicago?
Powerball
Gut feeling right now says the DTX area gets a ZR storm or some sort of frozen mix with back end snow. All rain scenario has very little support atm and really I'd be stoked for any kind of frozen precip. Bite your tongue!

Takes it 997mb over EVV. Best snow band stays just south of Chicago it looks like.

Thundersnow12
Looks like the 3rd run in a row of at least 12" for the southeast half of the LOT CWA, will have better idea in a bit.

The biggest difference was just to my east in and around Detroit as this run has a ton more mixing out that way before switching to snow.
cyclone77
All in all the Euro looks pretty similar to the 12z, but maybe a bit quicker with the surface low. Still a nice hit in the same general areas as the 12z.

Snowstorms
What a beauty of a storm on the 0z Euro. Detroit is on the edge of the heavy snow line but still sees a decent amount coupled with mixing. Chicago/Toronto cash in nicely with a good 12"+ of snow. Hoosier
If anything the snow band maybe looks a little narrower on this run but that is based on those WxBell graphics.
