Hoosier
Looks pretty good for N IL, WI, MI, etc. Nicer high nosing in too. 12 euro 144.gif 12 euro 850 144.gif That would probably be serious mix/ice potential for us.

Chicago WX
Borderline clocking of freezing rain here in the LAF on the euro. Has us at 32-33 the entire time with multiple inches of QPF. That would probably be serious mix/ice potential for us. Could you imagine 2.00"+ of rain and 33º?
blue60007
That would probably be serious mix/ice potential for us. Very serious. I think in that case the border line temperature would be a saving grace for us. Good thing we have days to go...

Ottawa Blizzard
The only thing that would make this an even more incredible start to met winter would be if the storm dropped over a foot of snow and was followed by temperatures falling through the teens into the single digits... Hoosier
they show like 20" of snow at LAF with 850 temps at like 5C. yeah, ok... Like I said, they're just terrible unless you know you're all snow with a 10:1 ratio.
Snowstorms
I know it's cliche, but there seriously is no other direction but down from here. The Euro shows 15-18" for the GTA. Beautiful storm. Temps are borderline but begin cooling afterwards. Timing is everything.

Snowstorms
dat gulf connection tho The water temperatures in the Atlantic are far warmer than other years due to lack of tropical storm formation this hurricane season. If things come into play perfectly this storm will be loaded with moisture. The STJ is also in play. The key is timing. If it can slow down somewhat in the SW like the Euro shows, cold air can build up across our region.
