ORH_wxman
This next slug should really rip the pike region and northward pretty good over the next 2 hours. N CT should at least see some of it as snow too.
TheSnowman
Will you think I can make it though the Mega Band as Snow? I'm still 100% Snow here, 0.5" an hour now as I wait.
Logan11
I just measured 9.5" +SN and 8.2F. Some of the nicest flakes falling now. I see the good stuff goes back to about the NY/PA/NJ triple point moving NNE. Very nice... you have a bit more elevation and latitude than I do, so hoping you top out above 10" when things are all said and done!

phil882
Its wierd... we keep alternating between light and moderate/heavy snow. When its light the flakes are very small and heavily rimmed (indicative that the flakes are mainly being produced in the lower portion of the DGZ and most of the rising motion is in the low-levels. However, when the 30+ dbz bands move overhead, very large dendritic flakes are produced with much higher theoretical snowfall ratios. This suggests that in these stronger bands are still being able to tap into the deeper DGZ although its starting to get choked off due to the strong WAA. Temp at 13.7 F

JJBASHB
Somewhere between 5.5-6.5" new, currently 16/14. Blowing and drifting has uniformed the depth of the snowpack and made measuring difficult. Graupel/snow.

Logan11
Running out of real estate for any mix around ALB though. POU still has snow as per the asos anyway at 2:00 AM.
