HIPPYVALLEY
Good timing on the dog walk, went out in the heaviest snow of the night. By the time we got back vis. was 1/4mi or less. 6.2" snowing at close to 2"/hr now. Roads are unplowed and deep. Don't need this to go on much longer for the Box map to verify out here. Patrick-02540
3 something here. 31.3 but still mainly snow. Impressive. Met expectations Moderate/heavy snow here in Falmouth. I just got off the phone with my cousin on south shore of Martha's Vineyard- all snow there. Funny how it's changing over north of here, but all snow here. Chrisrotary12
Just home from work. Driving not fun. Could see roughly about 15 feet in front of car. Probably 3" of fluff on ground now. Snowing very heavily. Just checked my email. My grandmother in Middleboro emailed me at 825 pm asking if thunder was possible. Said she had been hearing what sounded like thunder for about 20 mins. Told her yes. That it likely was thunder and that it is very cool.
CoastalWx
That 5" was stuff since this morning. Probably would have been near 6 with normal clearing since the first 2" or so was see through fluff.
ORH_wxman
It is ripping all sorts of sh*t here at home. The strong east BL wind must be forcing some pretty strong low level lift causing graupel crap to mix in with the synoptic snow higher up.
