CapturedNature
The area north of Hartford and south of BDL seems to be getting some really good bands. That area's probably doing pretty well.

DomNH
Nice pull - I am in the rates may exceed 1" per hour section. You'd better hope rates reach 1''/hr at some point since there's only about 7-8 hours of snow left lol.
snowman21
Clear air mode sucks. Which radar? OKX is in VCP 21.
ORH_wxman
Let the mets think they know more than folks in the bands I can't speak for the validity since it might actually be 3" per hour...but most people (including weather geeks) can't really tell the difference between an inch an hour or 3 inches per hour just looking outside for a couple minutes. The only real way to know is to take a clean measurement after like 10 minutes or so and extrapolate conservatively (to account for compaction)

OceanStWx
Nothing more fun than watching pingers race north on dual pol. Staten Island next! I do actually enjoy when the mixing is near the RDAs and you can see the cold air battle the mixing for a time before eventually giving way. bmj16725
Up to 3.5" here with moderate snow. Temp has not budged at 13.5. I think NWS's 6-8" range is going to verify well here based on the radar trends.

ORH_wxman
Seems a little extreme ... I think most people can tell that difference pretty easily. They are both heavy snow. The natural instinct is usually to over estimate rates. I probably should have worded it like that.
