Walpole Joe
i love the atlantic ocean...i hate the atlantic ocean. Love this quote, so true! Grew up in Narragansett and loved watching the weather in the summer when I would see PVD was roasting at 92 and we were 80 with a breeze. In the winter, not so much

DomNH
We won't be pinging by then right? I know this is the OBS thread, but I bet it's close. NAM punches ML warmth through pretty strongly after 9z, so I bet we ping about 10z-11z. Of course the caveat is most of the precip has fallen at that point so we don't really lose all that much to sleet. I feel really confident in 8-10'' and I doubt any more, but we'll see. TalcottWx
There should be a really cool time tonight at some point when the storm really gets going south of us and the thundersnow starts falling.

TalcottWx
Sorry for the IMBY. Judging by some of the models it appears that interior ne ma might be able to stay all snow for the majority of the precip (4km NAM/RAP) The latest HRRR is coming in now. Really fluffy dry and light 15f could transition to quite the paste later for those riding the cf.
SouthieWX
I'm at work in the South End, but Logan has now risen to 25* with an East wind at 20mph. Snowing horizontally with around an inch on the ground. Hopefully we can rip for another 6 hours before we change over. My call since Thursday was for 4-8" for the city. It will be close.
