We had multiple jumps like that down on LI...hope u hang on as long as possible. I was 23 degrees most of the day...Im at 37.6

Edit: that was my temp 45 mins ago..now 41.5

Ok so I wasn't seeing things. I was just out and saw a very faint bluish flash, for all I knew it was a transformer or something.

Was hoping to see lightning but I think up here in Ayer we are just too far N of that sick instability axis.  The Newton flash/boom is right on target for the region for best potential.  Surprised actually there wasn't more in NE CT and N RI but there may be more opportunities.

About a half hour ago I heard 5 distinctive thunderous sounds.  Very loud and I do not think people were lighting off fireworks.  VERY LOUD.
