michsnowfreak
I am surprised at how drifty it is! Not a snow measurers best friend, but already decent drifts forming from the neighbors roof. The snow is very dry, powdery but not necessarily too fluffy (the latest dendrite rush was the fluffiest. Going with 1.4" through 8am, I have to work 10-6, when most of the fun should be, so it should be interesting when I get out of work!

stormtrackertf
Snowfall rates ramping back up again after a little bit of a break (but in spite of nothing on radar, never actually stopped or even came close)
stormtrackertf
I can't tell. It's gnarly though. That'll boost some totals real quick. I'm rooting for the GTA, I feel somewhat of a connection with them always getting screwed much like SEMI in spite of having constant lake effect monster snows all around them. Trent
This is the fluffiest system snow I can recall in a long time. The ratios here have got to be close to 20:1. I measured a hair over 2" from overnight.

Buffalo Bumble
Very cool to see that band of lake effect snow moving east to west from L Ontario today after hammering NY the last several days. BUF NWS even mentions it in this morning's AFD: A POINT OF INTEREST FOR LAKE EFFECT SNOW LOVERS...A NORTHEASTERLYFLOW BENEATH A STRONG SUBSIDENCE INVERSION BASED AT 900MB ISPRODUCING A NARROW RIBBON OF MODERATE LAKE EFFECT SNOW OVER THENEARSHORE WATERS OF LAKE ONTARIO. THIS `REVERSE` BAND SNAKES ALONGFROM JUST NORTH OF HAMLIN BEACH TO THE HAMILTON/BURLINGTON AREAATTHE WESTERN TIP OF THE LAKE. THIS CANADIAN LAK3 BAND IS EERILYREMINISCENT OF THE HEAVY LAKE SNOW BAND THAT PUMMELED THE HAMILTONMETRO AREA DURING THE GREY CUP GAME ON NOV 24 1996. nwohweather
Always it seems like Yup kind of depressing to wake up with only an inch. But the radar is very promising so 5" should be attainable and IWX agrees that this thing should actually improve in moisture
