most of Central IL I would say exceeded the 4-6" they were calling for it was more like 5-9"

9.00"   2 E URBANA           CHAMPAIGN    1000 AM

I guess it's time for me to stop complaining about a lack of snow and to start complaining about the fact that we never went Winter Storm Warning. ILX really dropped the ball on this one.

If it truly is coming down moderately to occasionally heavy, I think you got a shot of 1/2 a foot. Still probably another good 6 hours of snowfall left.

That would be awesome. Final huraw looks like it should have some pretty decent rates if that defo band can materlialize and shift north enough.

Yes, it's snowing very heavily in my area and its piling up quickly. Visibility is down to nearly zero. How is it your way?

Moderate snow right now. Not nearly as bad as you are describing over here. The heart of the band should slowly shift SE into my area, although it is weakening slightly. Then comes the rest of the deformation band.

Yeah the snowfall bands extend south towards windsor so the snowfall should continue falling through the night. Starting to see the heavier bands coming in now.

I have 9.2cm now its piling up quick.

Got 9.4cm over here so far. Solid SN with huge sized flakes and best rates of the storm so far.

Yess amazing rates. Looks beautiful outside. Heavier bands moving in and should continue for another 3-4 hours as SSC just mentioned.

I just broke the 10cm (4") mark. Its too dark right now for pictures but I will take them tomorrow morning.
