WestCoaster
Getting hammered. Parked the truck using the wheel loader!! Well at least you aren't driving when getting hammered. Now operating a wheel loader while hammered... may not be the safest, but sounds like something a hammered person might do.
AppsRunner
Measured somewhere between 6-7" here. Average was about 6.25" which was above my original call. TOL should crack 6" but several locations around me were at 8" or so. Fun storm. I've missed winter.
WestCoaster
YYZ is dead in the middle of some very decent snowfall rates right now (30+ dbZ). I'm sure they will pick up 0.1" from it

I'm sure they will pick up 0.1" from it Yeah, some nice banding (non LES though) features showing up over the city. How are the rates? Looking at the highway cams it doesn't seem as impressive as radar would indicate but that sometimes can be deceiving.

snowstormcanuck
btw...i'm glad you guys are reporting heavy rates. Based on the MTO cameras it really looks lackluster but I find that sometimes happens in the case of high ratio, large flaked snowfall. Lack of density = improved visibility. It's a working theory. OntarioWX
Had to drive my roommate somewhere in Hamilton and the roads are pretty garbage. A lot of side streets are borderline impassable, especially in some of the hilly areas. Had to actually dig the car out of the parking lot because of a drift that had formed around it. I know that we were officially at 6" in Hamilton as of 4pm, and though snow has been mostly light since then we've probably picked up another inch or two. The drifting makes it hard to tell for sure though.
