Indystorm
5.7 inches of snow here at Dunlap at 2 p.m. ET measured from an average of locations IMBY. Still snowing. First good system snow of the season has certainly shared the wealth with many in our subforum.
blue60007
Looks like things are winding down here after a good burst of moderately heavy snow. Total on the board here is 6.2... might pick up another .1 or so before it winds down. Not too bad.
weathernut
As the inversion heights continue to lower what was a single band has kind of spread out into weaker multibands. Rates are not as intense but it is spreading the wealth along the western shores Lk Ontario more. Oakville and Burlington should start getting back into the action shortly. I've noticed snow rates have increased past 20 minutes in Hamilton. Looks like more LE starting to head this way too. Thx for explanation. I was wondering why the squall appeared to be spreading. GordoFabulous
4.5" up here in Huntington. Keep your NAM rain down there. This 10:1 ratio is bad enough, but at least it's snow. Hope it stays snow for you. Still raining with these heavier returns. Temp is approaching 36.
TimChgo9
Light snow still falling and 4" here now. it's 27 outside, and no wind to speak of. Definitely busted high.....

mimillman
Very happy to have busted here. Still haven't measured but gotta say it looks between 4 and 5 inches. Definite win and happy for those who are also doing well.
AppsRunner
Haven't measured personally but area wide reports are between 4-6.5". Getting some of the heaviest snow of the event now with halfway decent flake size. Local met was calling for 1-2"/hr snowfall later this afternoon. Unofficially 5" in Toledo
on_wx
It's hard to get an accurate snowfall measurement around my building, but I'd say about 2" has come down. Sound about right?
hm8
PIxel Dust basically...Well as the low approaches from the S, nears N Oh, hopefully the deeper moisture makes it into S/E Michigan. Based on radar returns we should get back in a moderate snowfall over the next couple hours. Don't think dry air is the problem. 18z RAP soundings show 80%+ relative humidity throughout the dendritic growth zone. Problem is there's bubkis in terms ascent forcing...no less than -5 ub/s. Earlier there was (slightly) stronger forcing, but it was above the best region for growth (as DTX predicted in their AFD yesterday)
weatherbo
snow has finally made it all the way to the tip area. cold 17, so it's pixie type but low visibility. hoping for an inch or two before winds shift and some decent enhancement tomorrow, good for another 3 or 4". congrats down south! storm totals

Chitown Storm
Very happy to have busted here. Still haven't measured but gotta say it looks between 4 and 5 inches. Definite win and happy for those who are also doing well. I agee. Last night when the precipitation shield basically stopped around I-80, I thought we'd be lucky to get an inch or two. Glad I busted. Can't complain about December so far in these parts.
Chinook
This storm is pretty similar to Valentines 2007 storm that hit the OV/GL and the Northeast http://www1.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/cmb/images/snow/nesis/20070212-20070215-5.63.jpg
Thunder Road
Barring any additional accumulation from the last band pivoting on through, we're at 5.1" on the storm and 10.1" on the season.
blue60007
Calling it here at 6.3", SWE of 0.72". Heavy stuff. Off to do a final clearing of the drive...
Boogieman
Just shoveled off the drive, there's a good 4" here, very light and fine snow, thankfully. It's all covered again with 1/4" by the time I got it done. Drifts between the house and garage were pushing 7". Looks like we've still got a few more hours left, so I'd say around 6.5" IMBY when all is said and done.
Hoosier
Calling it here at 6.3", SWE of 0.72". Heavy stuff. Off to do a final clearing of the drive... Seems like a general 6-7" across the county with some locally higher totals of 7 and change. I see Chad had 6.9" on 0.66 liquid.
