mimillman
As much as I would love this to happen, gotta remember its the NAM in a nasso-hot range. It is encouraging to see that it didn't shift back north from where it was yesterday. What's pretty cool about this in particular is that I'm flying from Chicago tomorrow evening and getting in late tomorrow night. So I'll have the clipper on both ends haha. The NAM doesn't have a good range anymore. With that said, I hope it verifies. I always like to go with a gfs/euro/rgem/"gut" blend
Stormlover74
.42 on the nam. This is one where ratios should legitimately be better than 10-
Rjay
.42 on the nam. This is one where ratios should legitimately be better than 10-1 I hope we can get some good snow growth. It was terrible with this last storm.
jm1220
Hr 45 steady snow from city-west. Mod snow over Long Island. This is all snow for everyone Catching onto other guidance-definitely a good sign. As long as this is south of Long Island all of us should be good all the way out through Cape Cod. Quick 3-6" deal. SnoSki14
Seems like the trend is to dig a bit further south, maybe that will continue and we could see considerably more than 1-3" around here. It looks cold enough for all snow as well.
SnowGoose69
The SREFs really have become more explosive, at 42 hours we only have about 2 of 21 now not being notably amped with the system where as of the 09Z SREFs earlier today 8 of them were flat. As long as this is south of Long Island all of us should be good all the way out through Cape Cod. Quick 3-6" deal.I think we are good for a few inches even on the south coast...shortwave is really digging and the Atlantic inflow is impressive.
