Dino
25 degrees, light snow, coating to 1/4 inch grass and cars, and untreated surfaces. Selden, NY. (Central LI) I am optimistic with this region because during last years blizzard, we were supposed to changeover to rain after the first inch of snow. The geography and deformation bands helped, and ended up with over 30 inches. People on south shore got maybe a few inches. Super cut off. Also, looking at the radar, I am liking the way the bands are training in from the west. Almost directly west to east movement going straight through NYC and LI. Hopefully the bands continue to set up nicely across the area as the radar fills in.
ace0927
Here, too (Forest Hills) ... love these days with the constant light snow. Beautiful outside! Radar presentation is great for the NYC metro with light snow now extending all the way back through PA. Was a bit more ragged earlier... still looks ragged to me

Stormlover74
Why do people think if they're not getting snow its because of dry air when there are moderate radar returns to your north, east and west?
