December 14/15 winter storm threat part II

Lol Storm Cancel. 6z Runs turn this into a Rain Storm. My first wasted time in a storm this season. Oh well. I'll head to Boston today. What crap. Nothing in earth that ticks me off more than Extreme Bleeping Cold only to Somehow, Someway, Someblah, get pushed completely out of the way by a Low that pushes into land that had it just minded is own business out to sea would have brought me 12" +. Then I have to listen to all that people that live out in the boonies make it seem like 90% of the population lives out There with "well no issues North of the pike" / "what a great storm as long as your North of the pike / NW of 495". Well ya know what, 90% of people Don't live North of the pike. So this is Bad, not a "no worry".

Well our winter economy depends on good snow for skiing, snowmobiling, etc, so I wish you guys were always all rain and we always got the snow.

he's makin a good move. he'd get plenty in his hometown, but he doesn't want to deal with any taint what-so-ever so might as well head N.

I don't understand it..He still has to come home doesn't he? He said all he wanted was his yard covered..Now he's leaving 8-10 inches of snow to get 12-15..to me that's a head scratcher..but different folks like to stroke different

This is what a few folks were discussing that would help add to the higher totals..this is before it rips from 8-4:00 am

Matt Noyes@MattNoyesNECN20m

Late day plans? Latest guidance of total snow by 7 PM - 3" Central/Western CT, less northeast: http://ow.ly/i/41uq1

It's a wash. Taints and ends there earlier too. Hoping to grab an inch or two of messengers favorite snow later, before the real stuff comes.

I think he said he was going to hit the slopes of Attitash tomorrow too. Besides, the bastid practically lives up here anyway

depends...upper 30s at least...if it tucks in close, yes 40ish for a short-time

yeah point and click has me @41 tomorrow, should be fun moving 4" with another .5" of water in it, would be nice if it melted on its own, but not feeling it

yeap, does that make it into Boston or mostly cape type deal?

As the flow aloft starts turning east, it will even

Drift into your area this aftn. BTV WRF actually looks like it has a period of steadier light snows from that down here.

thanks, will be watching for that would be nice to start with an inch before main system moves in.
