NortheastPAWx
B We've probably picked up just under 1/2" of snow out of this one band, in only 20 minutes or so. Very light and fluffy stuff with a lot of air. Dendrites FTW. Best snow of the event thus far beyond any doubt.

Mallow
B Best snow of the event thus far beyond any doubt. If that thing approaching Johnstown holds together, we could be in for a real wallop in about an hour.

CarlislePaWx
Still waiting for something here! Got around 0.3", a small coating, back when it started around 10:45. Then it slowed down and has virtually stopped completely right now. Ohhhh....the suspense....will it materialize as was forecasted??? ... or won't it? Temp at 29.7 with a dewpoint of 24. Pressure falling rapidly, so that should be encouraging.
Big Jims Videos
I'll take THUNDERSNOW and an inch and I would be happy for the rest of the winter. What little we had has now either melted or evaporated. The sun has made an appearance here.

AlexP
A little light-hearted holiday tune for you. "Oh Miller B, Oh Miller B, you're always screwing some-bo-dy" It might not technically apply to this storm, but it's been in my head today. Voyager
There appears to be a drying area just ahead of that heavy band down in south central PA. Is some energy being robbed from the lighter precipitation to to feed the heavy band? http://radar.weather.gov/ridge/Conus/northeast_loop.php
