NeffsvilleWx
We've got a huge problem. DT's map is similar to the NWS and Horst's. 2-4 might be a good call, after all. (Isn't DT one of the constant overpredictors?)
djr5001
after getting tired of looking back through threads for good links to various products... I decided to start a thread page on here with a collection of useful links... still have a lot of work to do with my endless unorganized weather bookmark collection but I think it could be useful... http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/topic/41984-weather-links/

NeffsvilleWx
This is sarcasm right? lol DT's map has everyone in 6"+ basically. So does the CTP map. Southern York and Southern Lancaster are really the only ones that are less than 6, on both maps.
jm1220
mapgirl, this is a wx board not a "how crappy is the area" board. At least your snow won't get washed away by rain like mine will. Look on the bright side.

NeffsvilleWx
Best thing to do is expect 2-6! I never have expectations. If it snows, it snows. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Ain't no thang.

Itstrainingtime
WWA issued for me, while Carroll/Frederick are under a warning Would certainly think you should reach at least low end warning criteria, especially at your elevation.

EasternUSWX
Based on model we get our 6-8" in an 6 hourish period. Probably 1-2" per hour rates for a while.

NeffsvilleWx
Looks like the 18z NAM is even more bullish for the LSV. LNS is at the 9-10" mark at hr 39, 6" at the mason dixon line.
AlexP
Temps around Harrisburg have been a little warmer than forecast today. Any chance it has an effect on what happens tomorrow? I'm thinking that the roads might stay just wet until the heavier stuff comes down in the afternoon.

I am not seeing that. Actually it appears less amped. Hard to tell until I look at grid numbers.

Front to our north, and it makes sense. Temps will wet bulb into the mid/upper 20s as the precip starts. Dewpoint depressions will be pretty dramatic tomorrow morning

I think most of the warming comes at the tail end of the heavy precip.
