it's a killer gradient and I'm on the wrong side

and don't go by the descriptions from others because we're all back yard centric around here!

Yea I saw that after, you have been screwed this year by the sharp gradient. You have about 4" on the season correct?, and I have almost 8" that is very odd. I thinking I average like 6" more than you for the entire winter.

I have 13 for this week so far. If we get another 7 that will put me at around 60% of my annual snowfall in one week. Its not even the middle of December. This is a localized anamoly for sure. Places north of me are not even close to our totals.

Snow. Is about to come in here and kick your butt. Btw that is sweet, I hope you get 7" more with this storm.

I can't wait to see what 3-6"+ will look like on top of this

Snow is a great poster. My point is the Mason Dixon crowd needs its own region this season. Central Pa weenies despise us for our high totals mid atlantic weenies think this is a purely Pa climo event. It is a pure local anamoly unique to North MD and extreme south Pa this season only.

Don't get over confident. This is only a 14-0 lead mid way through the first quarter. Things can change on a dime for any of us.

This. We are still east of all the apps and have the same climate as the rest of MD above the fall line. The only difference is that we hold onto CAD longer, (but not as long even as Cearfoss) but that extra few hours of CAD has been THE difference this year.

I am only at 4 inches and we live in the same city.

Yeah Baltimore has been the dividing line... Catonsville had 4" on Sunday and then 3" with the second storm.  But a couple of miles north (like Pikesville) was 7" Inches and 4" on Tuesday (I think- Stewart can verify this)... Anyway you slice though.. it is been a pretty phenomenal week... If we manage to squeeze out another 2"-3" on Sunday... we would be rocking so far this year.  Funny thing is is that if you look at BWI (where it counts), they are only at 2.9 Inches for the year.... and I am sorry if I have offended anyone in DC with this post... it is not my fault that God hates you guys...

JB2's take on this storm - "Here is my trusty Canadian Model on board with the storm Saturday.

I trust this since it seems to handle arctic air masses better, while other models push the cold out or give the southern stream more credit than deserved.

Best best: *ATMOSPHERIC MEMORY*"

I don't know who Stewart is, but pikesville didn't get 7" and 4". At least not where I live. I admit that I tend to be err on the side of conservative with my snow totals but we got 5" and about 2.5". The 5" is accurate and the 2.5" was on existing snow cover so I went 2" in the seas snow thread.

And by the way, RR doesn't live IN the city. He lives in Baltimore like Bob Chill lives in DC. And although I know that you are all just messing around, but trolling those without snow in the same forum gets old.
