CoastalWx
I don't agree. Hamden on the coast had 3 I said earlier because of the banding. That's why lower spots had that. Wife said over 2" at home. I'll find out soon.

CoastalWx
Best model we have inside of 36 hours It whacks it with weak fast moving systems coming off the coast in the 48-90 hour time range two winters in a row. 2" here and the powdah is still stacking up It's hands down the best, fact not opinion. CapturedNature
Yeah, some bonus snow in the past few hours! 4.0" on the board! (even higher on grass) DSC03145.JPG I had 3.6". That was more than I was expecting so it's always a bonus. I had to go into Springfield this afternoon and there was nothing (well, a dusting) down by the river. Totally different world up here with everything covered with snow. It has the look and feel of "deep winter" as Kevin would say with the roads and everything covered. I suspect that it will feel even more like winter come later this week.

The difference is noticeable much lower than that - probably around 450' around here. Besides, 1.5" more than 3" is 50% more than expected. I don't anyone who wouldn't take 50% more snow for free.
