black ice will be a big problem in you neck of the woods...

 

Interesting observation.  I saw ice "rosettes?" (don't know what they are called when you see ice forming crystalline patterns on a road as it freezes) forming on the road as I came into my neighborhood.  It looks like any treatment that was there is long gone.

34 and foggy here in Silver Spring, I wonder how the saturated air will affect the radiation cooling rate tonight, it sounds like there's fog in the burbs NW of DC

Light northwest winds from weak hp should take care of most of it overnight. It will be gone and we will all be below freezing before gametime except for further se and e areas. don't sweat it.

But I'm with him. Naming storms is dumb. Especially when TWC does it.

Ion is on the list this year :(

Sorta foggy here but minor. A damp cold. Fog mostly where there is more glacier it seems.
