bigjohndc
It sleeted with a few flakes from 6 to 7, now big fluffy flakes coming down at a decent clip. Temps also edging down 32.8.
BlizzardNole
Light snow in Germantown and 33.3 degrees; about a half inch so far. My hope is to get 3" out of this.
87storms
Not sure if many people were expecting widespread 4"+ - I think 2-3 inches with isolated higher totals was probably a good bet all along. Well nws upped to 4-6" for dc and vicinity. Think that will be tough but because we started a bit warm relatively speaking. Should be better with this next incoming band
usedtobe
Non accumulating light snow. 34. Pretty much a nonevent here. 33 and light snow, not much yet, if the snow doesn't pick up I'll owe Jason and apology for getting him to pull down the 2-5 to my house

MN Transplant
Better accumulations with the band about to cross the river into DC. The prior high reflectivity band was mostly due to the size of the aggregates.

Banding is set up along Rt. 66 and then just east of Rt. 95 These things suck yak scrote when you can see the back edge wire to wire just out to the west. Done and dusted by 1 pm. Is there a particular feature that is supposed to enhance mesoscale bands this AM or is what we see right now kind of what the situation will be all morning?
