Allsnow
After that band moves through costal areas that will be it for the heavy stuff. Looks like this will be done by 12. Just measured again 2.
IsentropicLift
That dry slot is NW PA was well modeled and will be filling in around noon. Radar is improving southwest of that area.
UlsterCountySnowZ
That dry slot is NW PA was well modeled and will be filling in around noon. Radar is improving southwest of that area. I did notice on some of the future radars it didn't ever have snows reaching me till around noon... Odd
White Gorilla
For those of you who have an inch or more, Im envious. I got a heavy coating.....better than a light coating.
jjvesnow
About 2.5 here. Got all that in a 3 hour window. Was fun watching it happen. Looks to be mostly over now. Well modeled really.

Odd I would never use future radars. Anyway, the main precip is about over.
IsentropicLift
The 12z GFS is slower moving precip out. Still a steady snow over the area through 3-4PM and really only wrapping up just before 00z. Shows an additional 1-3" of snow.
PB GFI
Very well modeled 2 to 4 event.

jm1220
Snowing hard again in Midtown. I don't think it's close to over by any means especially from the city on east and south. Probably a couple more inches in addition to what's already fallen.

IsentropicLift
Radar really is filling in quite nicely east of State College. I think we all get back into moderate snow by noon and then it gradually ends after 3PM.

I think we all get back into moderate snow by noon and then it gradually ends after 3PM. I just don't see it.. From what I can see the precip has a huge dry slot over eastern PA that's getting dryer, pushing northeast.. And I don't really see any other evidence of backfilling associated in PA
bluewave
Very well modeled 2 to 4 event. We continue to rock the December 2008 analog.

Just measured again 2.8 plowing today? Looks like I am going out very soon....waaaaaaaaay early than I thought but looks like a very easy cleanup. Great timing, not those overnight horror shows
UlsterCountySnowZ
for most it will be over by noon I agree, anyone that thinks this storms gonna backfill is grasping at straws here... I'll eat my words and admit I was wrong if it happens but I cannot imagine with no coastal development or energy transfer that this will fill in anymore

jm1220
Still think some places can hit 5 or 6" if the banding over PA translates east and fills in. Already 2-3" so it wouldn't be a huge stretch.
