Clinch Leatherwood
Fwiw...since 12z NAM has slowly shifted its best 7h fronto south. Now only grazes the Cape Yep...I can't get excited seeing it come off the Delmarva and miss south. 1-3 or 2-4....barring anything more exciting from the rest of the run. weathafella
flakes? No. You always exceed expectations and your western location ironically will help you early.
Mr. Windcredible!
It's encouraging that NAM isn't dropping totals. Cautiously optimistic that most of CT pulls out 2-4" with this one. Hopefully a jackpot zone of 4"+ somewhere in the S-half of the state
40/70 Benchmark
I hear you to a certain degree, but you were pretty much all frozen today (when qpf fell) and we got plenty of chances, not bad for Dec 9 Nah, it rained from mid morning on. All I said is that the month would START to take on a frustrating appeal next weekend....I chose my words very carefully.

Clinch Leatherwood
Meh...Cape gets clipped on the NAM with some decent lift, but overall it's a miss with the best UVV's. Flag!

Clinch Leatherwood
RGEM is skimpy. 1-3/2-4...we're seeing a consolidation of the non NCEP guidance pulling the .25 line around the canal/Plymouth along the extreme coast. RGEM pulled the 10mm line with best fronto north but it still misses all but maybe ACK. 2" seems like the most common number for down this way as Phil pointed out was his average earlier in the day. Probably room for more where the banding sets up and the other side will get sacrificed. I feel better now that the heavier band may setup very close to me on the NW edge. I'd be more surprised if I ended up with 1" or less here than I would 3" or more.
CoastalWx
The lift is within the 700-500 mb layer. It is very sloped. 500mb vv is just fine. If you recall that event back in Feb I believe, there was a ribbon of H5 VVs over the canal that smoked messenger. 700mb VVs in that were well south. So there is that, but again...it's all dependent on how this sets up.
RUNNAWAYICEBERG
we cant expect any major shifts in guidance at this stage. its going to come down to who gets in on (any) banding to try to pull off warning criteria snows.
