dryslot
read back a few pages, I said a NW solution is certainly plausible. that is not the point here. Then what is your point, I don't need to go read back thru any pages
ORH_wxman
GFS isn't buying whatever the NAM is selling through 54 hours.

weathafella
Gfs (to me) appears to be staying the course for the most part wrt earlier runs.
ORH_wxman
Gfs (to me) appears to be staying the course for the most part wrt earlier runs. The biggest difference between the GFS and NAM through 60 hours is up to our north.
RUNNAWAYICEBERG
GFS isn't buying whatever the NAM is selling through 54 hours. its slower in lifting the vort. yea we fear the meat grinder, but no NW solution hear.

Clinch Leatherwood
GFS isn't buying whatever the NAM is selling through 54 hours. They're not close at all even at 24 hours on the west coast at 500mb off CA/OR etc.

weathafella
Think of all the times we have ots solutions and the first model out of the gate nails us. We're all giddy until the rest of the suite slaps nam around. Kind of like what I belief is going to happen tonight but I wasn't giddy with the nam though the thump would have been interesting. ROOSTA
Trying to explain chaos. Use a calculation to explain the butterfly fart in Manitoba what throws the whole thing back into chaos. Good luck with that.

ORH_wxman
GFS looks a bit wetter and stronger than 18z. Position is fairly similar give or take. Its even a smidge colder for our area. The CAD is better this run.
weathafella
Light snow starts late morning, becoming heavier late day/early evening and ramping up. Brings the low over the bm. Probably a period of sleet/mic after quite a bit of snow is down but it could be mainly snow. I'd lock this.
