Typhoon Tip

The snowgrowth in this one looks optimal right now. That can change, but it definitely creates an entirely different feel for the event when it happens versus when you are getting snow grains or light baking soda falling from the sky.

Hard to poo poo .5 QPF in an arctic environment. like i said the mega death band folks will be disappointed. ens look really nice.

I've never seen anything like it..Everyone is so amped up and excited about a long duration 5-10 inch snow event and one poster who has a cold and in a bad mood, comes in and just downs everything

my guess is, he's seeing the same flags that were being discussed this morning. i mentioned 'em...then backed away because i felt like it was being construed as though i'm a DD.

I mean I feel like snow is likely on Saturday... just don't know what to really expect Sat night/Sun AM. It could be quite meh in general.

2009
/.

Anybody remember this one?  BOX archives had my town at 8.5 inches.  This looks like a nice way to kick off snowpack season.  I don't count the half-inch of mood snow.

He's calling for 1-3 and a changeover to sleet and rain lol.

Maybe he's just trolling?

I'm looking forward to some -SN on Saturday. Not sure what to expect on Saturday night - it's not a lock that we'll get something great down this way.

It's gonna snow pretty hard. You're a snow growth guy so you should be on it. Don't be such a 850 jockey....lol.
