Apparently my mom was super worried she wouldn't be able to get to the hospital. I wonder if that has/had anything to do with my obsession with snow. NYC stated the first week of March -11...and several locations this winter have had record lows broken and also daily low max. We are a few inches away from our second snowiest season on record. Djf have all been below normal and so will March, I don't know what more you are looking for. The Uhi has killed NYC and will be very hard to get below zero. Didn't we make it to 2 or 3 during that morning in January? Obv the pattern the last few weeks has not yielded much snow in NYC , but we have had chances. Last week went south and this week it's phasing to much. We are in a below normal pattern overall, nothing will be normal temp wise this march. I'm pretty sure it's quite common to have a couple of 70 degree days this month. No matter how you slice it this Thursday will feel brutal especially early on. The very mild days preceding it will only increase the impact compared to when it's consistently cold and we are used to it. The winds will make it feel particularly brutal.
