euro says enjoy this today, because we will not see it for a while...

has a mid-atlantic snowstorm monday and 6-12 for nyc-bos on wed of next week

obv it could be fantasy but with the pv to our northeast we will not see these temps for a while

The Euro was also close to delivering a lot more than that. Keeps most of the steadier snow south and east of the general area.

Weren't you the same guys who were saying we wouldn't be seeing spring-time temps any time soon?

In reality, near 70 here in midtown.

When do you think we warm up? You think its 70 all next week? Throw a forecast out there. You are very good at monday morning quarterbacking, you have been bad with the cold all year

No, but it's getting to be mid March. 40s/50s will be the norm. 60s aren't out of the question. Relatively pleasant.

I think it is you and others on here who've been way off with the cold. NYC below 0? Nope. NYC setting daily records? Just one. Blockbuster snow and cold the past 20-30 days? Hardly.

Looks like the Canadian shows 6 inches of snow on Sunday night into Monday.  The Euro is also showing a bit of snow as well with a 996mb low near Hatteras, but the thread for that storm is shut down?

Yeah....have no idea why, obviously a valid threat within 5-6 days. Does not mean it will happen, but it could.

NYC stated the first week of March -11...and several locations this winter have had record lows broken and also daily low max.

We are a few inches away from our second snowiest season on record. Djf have all been below normal and so will March, I don't know what more you are looking for. The Uhi has killed NYC and will be very hard to get below zero. Didn't we make it to 2 or 3 during that morning in January?

Obv the pattern the last few weeks has not yielded much snow in NYC , but we have had chances. Last week went south and this week it's phasing to much. We are in a below normal pattern overall, nothing will be normal temp wise this march. Enjoy today as there will not be many this march

I think even the coldest Marches have a few really warm days. I'm pretty sure it's quite common to have a couple of 70 degree days this month. No matter how you slice it this Thursday will feel brutal especially early on. The very mild days preceding it will only increase the impact compared to when it's consistently cold and we are used to it. The winds will make it feel particularly brutal.
