snywx
Man, I would love to congratulate you on achieving this feat. I hope everything goes out well between you and her. I assume you were prepping for this very moment really hard; it must have caused you to incessantly attach those winks at the end of your posts last month to all of your replies. But seriously, I am failing hard in the intimacy department, as I NEVER, ever, have accomplished anything even remotely close to what you are doing right now. I can almost conclude that being a quarter-century old with virtually no success thus far, I am just about done for. Maybe they can make a part 2 to 40 yr old virgin.. Interested? It took me well past 25 to find the right girl. If I approach a girl to engage in conversation with her, I would look like a creep. For a man to be short and skinny is frowned upon when it comes to relationships. So why should I bother? This is why I have not done this because I want to avoid looking like a fool. I am very baby-faced as well, so that doesn't help.

Believe me, we all fail in relationships many times before you find the right person... take it from someone twice your age. And you usually find that person by chance when you're really not even looking.

Hailstorm
Escort? In all seriousness don't give up. There's someone for everyone ...but you have to keep trying I definitely do not find anything appealing about escort services. I always prefer to develop a long-term emotional connection with a girl before anything. I haven't tried once since I just perceive my physical appearance to be a major turn-off. I just assume that if I approach a girl, I will be told by her that I am not attractive at all. I mean, if you go outside in NYC, you never see guys shorter than 5'8" walking with a woman. Hailstorm
"Leap, and the net will appear." Just talk about what a big you are and hope she misconstrues! Can you please elaborate on what you mean by that quote? I don't follow you. when you are 20-25 the last thing you should be doing is developing long-term emotional connections lol. You need to be practicing! Well, I think that having a very supportive and loving character is my only hope here because my physical traits are terrible. Juliancolton
Can you please elaborate on what you mean by that quote? I don't follow you. It's pretty straightforward... not sure how to boil it down any further. Metaphorically speaking, if you take a risk and jump, a net will appear to catch you. In other words, if you take the first step, opportunities will present themselves, even if you can't see them initially. "I'm ugly, I'll never find somebody" is kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy as well. Another quote, since I'm feeling very symbolic tonight for some reason: "That which you manifest is before you." Thanks for the explanation. I admire your words of motivation! I glean from your advice is that I need to have more self-actualization. I will certainly work on that in the present and the future. TwcMan
Monday should be the 3rd consecutive month that it has snowed on the 3rd of the month this winter. Pretty cool.
Rjay
I'm not big into model bashing but why do smart people on this forum follow the NAM? On some of our big coastal storms it has shown wild changes aloft as early as hr 6 and 12. In this case the NAM shifted like 200 miles or so south in 6 hours. This is why it's impossible to take seriously...even when it shows a huge hit for us.
Rib
Yeah, I know this is the banter thread but I can't say I've ever seen this topic being discussed. You know what, at least you respected the rules enough to use this thread so carry on.

LongBeachSurfFreak
Reading the main thread made me Ill. Seriously Ill. We have pulled the rabbit out of the hat how many times this winter? CIK62
Hold your glasses high Laddies. Check out what St. Paddy brings forth. A wee ways off through the woods and a might too warm so just let our meteorologist Tom Collins chill your glass before he pours the Irish Whiskey! http://mag.ncep.noaa.gov/NCOMAGWEB/appcontroller/Image.php?fhr=360ℑ=data%2Fgfs%2F12%2Fgfs_atlantic_360_850_temp_mslp_precip.gif&model=gfs&area=atlantic¶m=850_temp_mslp_precip&group=Model+Guidance&preselected_formatted_cycle_date=20140301+12+UTC&imageSize=&ps=model If this goes down even in part we'll crack 76" in conjunction with the 6-8" expected Monday. Realize this is off topic but just making some humor.

I'm really starting to think weather enthusiasts are inherently bipolar Not happening this time unless like Yanks said wave 1 tomorrow overperforms. Wave 2 may miss us completely on Monday with just a few snow showers. I get it, it sucks, 5 days ago we thought this was a 3 day overrunning event. PD II redux, winter going out with one final bang 1 to 2 feet over the whole area. But it just wasn't meant to be. The PV orientation/strength and weakness of the low is just not going to allow our area to get dumped on like we all had hoped. I'm totally fine with it but again we had our expectations set really high so even 6" seems like a letdown when in other winters it would be our biggest storm
