for the record I have nothing against ACE as I run a couple of forums, one for gaming (SCK) and empirestateeuros.com. ball busting is an inherent risk that is always going to happen but there ALWAYS must be a line drawn to prevent it from going too far. everyone has levels of sensitivity but also people have to realize that this will happen and ball busting ensues. I was more offended by how he composed himself and was insulting and assaulting with how he was whether it was to quell weenieism which lets face it does go on in here when there is a snow threat looming like this upcoming week. The moderators have been doing a great job of not being too tight with some posts being pro-weenie, letting it flow and just have fun pretty much. when the real threat for storms occur they'll clamp down accordingly, read what ace said in the posts if they haven't been deleted and you'll see why the ban hammer dropped on him

"Professional meteorologists should be interpreting these maps, they're beautiful maps and were very accurate in predicting Sandy, but 16-year-olds don't know how to interpret," said Glenn.

Based on the caliber of forecasting by most "on camera weather people" that I've seen over the last 40 years or so...I'd probably trust the 16 year old long before I would trust them.

I just need 22 more inches to reach 50.

I just need 22 more inches to reach 50.

I've seen us not hit that in successive winters....97-99 I bet central NJ didn't rack up that amount in the whole time. Amazing run of winters the past decade, and even Atlanta, as unprepared as they were, has seen accumulating snow a few times in the past few years.

Amazing how much more snow you have left then I do! Basically just piles left here . The one time being close to the water is beneficial to saving snow is today. As the onshore flow isn't allowing it to go over 40 here[/quo

I guess since we had a bit more snow from that last big storm helped. And yes I'm hoping the cloud cover helps us out today too.
