i agree... it's really juvenile....TG for americanwx.  seriously the least dramatic and best place to come for meteorological insight.

the celebrating/bridge jumping literally every other run for the last 4 days has made this storm incredibly not fun to track

get a ****ing grip

I'm going with 6-10" with locally higher amounts, esp. over LI

if 00z realizes the 500mb and translate it to the surface, we're looking at 12-18" with isolated higher amounts. It all comes down to 00z tonight, esp. the hi-res models

Everyone has probably seen this already, but I think upton agrees with your statement :

LARGE SCALE ASCENT GLIDING OVER A WELL DEFINED ARCTIC WEDGE WILL

CAUSE THIS WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW EVENT. IN FACT...THE

LATEST FORECAST MODELS ARE TRENDING WETTER...WHICH IF THEY PERSIST

WILL RESULT IN HIGHER AMOUNTS THAN CURRENTLY FORECAST.

I have to vent...

I absolutely hate tracking this particular storm. Apparently "The H5 looks much improved" and we're "so close to a big storm", however precip amounts have been trending slightly downwards today. While I agree that the 500mb pattern looks a little better, the surface does not and I doubt it ever will before the storm "hits"

Also, the inaccurate model analysis on the model thread is completely unbearable.

I haven't seen such a disaster of a storm thread in the almost three years I've been here. It's really pathetic. This is exactly why posters in the Philly subforum don't want to merge back with NYC Metro. Why would they want to be associated with us?

I am not going to lie, I am here from the Philly sub forum and I can't stop laughing at the 0z thread. It's great entertainment but I don't know how there are any serious posts!

If things don't improve here I'm seriously considering going to your subforum. It's just too much. I'm in Philly's CWA anyway.

Lol, its only okay to say the run was better, if not all the trolls get on you

I feel bad for earthlight. The AmWx council should give him some new recruits to help cut the BS down.

That would be helpful around here, maybe putting a post limit on inactive or new accounts too

Because you post nonsense in the model threads, not in the banter thread where it belongs. The "well they do it too" retort is something my 4 year old son would say.

You don't happen to have a spare computer in your house, do you? ...might want to check.

Okay, back to lurking!
