An act of terrorism is not effective if people do not know it was an act of terrorism; the purpose is to terrify. Emotional instability among the crew would be a better explanation. But I do not think we are going to get an explanation, and no terrorist organization has claimed credit. And the plane might never be found. I think some group would have claimed it if they had used the airplane to do even more potential damage to some city, planes have been hijacked before so I think they had more planned but failed for a reason we may never know, just my take on this situation. I truly hope that they find the plane in the ocean but my fear is that there are other plans for this plane that will be put to use after things die down a bit. where would they land the plane, it needs at least 1/2 a mile to land and it can't be a dinky field if they plan to use the plane again, also if they were to refuel it to fly it into something it would need at least a mile long runway to take off. It could also be on some remote island that has been recognized as a possibility.
