It looks like what ever happens on Monday may put some more in the bucket, but I had no idea we are so far below for March. Yeah been dry, just 0.25 here. Now the mid atlantic is equalizing it with there share of snowstorms now a la suppression due to the PV. This was our last vacation together before my dad was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer in October 2011. He started chemo in October and lasted until April when he had to go into hospice.On April 18,2012, he passed away at 52 years old. Next month is going to make 2 years. How fast time flies. So sorry to hear this. Cancer is terrible terrible thing. My father is recovering from prostate cancer. If you ever need to talk... I'm here. Very soothing and great for wintertime. I've been to the Philippines a few times, have you been yet? Very nice place especially outside of the cities. True tropical climate and each region has their own special foods. We got shrimp that seemed nearly a foot long right as it came off the boat! You must admit at this stage the last storm we didnt have nowhere near the ensemble/operational support of the GFS/ECMWF that we have now and it was just the GGEM that was taken as gospel. Current setup looks more promising IMO im not saying alot more just looks to have more legs due to the better support it has on the idea of a possible powerful coastal storm on the EC next week. We all add to that in some way though for humurous purposes as well, the personal responses saying "terrible analysis" etc. IMO are more dangerous for a threads credibility. Im not pointing any fingers as it is not my job to do so but that is a bigger problem. What we should do is have a thread for banter regarding the storm and a strictly model analysis PBP thread that banter is strictly moderated.
