MN Transplant
Really starting to drip from the trees now. Close to 34 degrees.
Sparky
I got some ice overnight but I still think I lucked out overall with that skirting mostly south. I haven't lost power yet. A few pics with bended branches.
das
Sitting at 31.8F in Clarksburg. Looks to finally go above freezing soon. My wife said the last batch of showers brought down 3 medium branches. Mine is a wooded lot so no biggie.

WEATHER53
was sweating it for a while last night at 31.2 and moderate freezing rain with about 0.2 already accumulated but got a fortunate bump to 31.8 and it just would not freeze any longer. MN Transplant
On 66, as soon as you transition from Arlington to Falls Church around the EFC metro, the tree glaze becomes a lot more noticeable. Still covered here. One huge tree down a couple of blocks away,

ACFD FIREMAN
Just got in from running and saw quite a few trees damaged in the neighborhood. The pines took the brunt as well as the trees that haven't lost all their leaves yet. Still alot of ice on the trees and it's already back down to near freezing. The snow tomorrow will only create more weight and damage.
mattie g
A couple trees fell in my neighborhood, and there a lot of limbs down (especially on pines). Power was on and off earlier, apparently.
das
The high in Clarksburg was 32.1°F. We were above freezing for less than 15 minutes today. The temp is 30.5°F and heading down. There was never a part of the storm that had anything other than frozen precipitation. All trees are still fully loaded with ice. It should be interesting when we start to add snow on top of that in the morning
jnis
Same thing here. I think black ice will be a big problem early...
