Hey ravensrule, where are you from in Baltimore? I've basically been coming away with the same readings and was curious. Btw, I was at game too. What a treat, but I'm not looking forward to tonight. That moisture plume is basically aimed right at the Central Mid Atlantic.

Greenspring Ave north of exit 22 on 695.

The question is - is it actually accumulating/are we getting accretion or is it just puddling because it's so heavy.

It is beginning to accumulate on everything except for salted roads (which is most of them). I'm sitting at about 29.7 with a slight rise at the onset of the precip.

Also said I should expect rain and freezing rain until 1pm... now the only thing I'm worried about is that the best ice misses me to the south. (Snow to the north, ice to the south, the DC split lives another day)

I tried to check the road to see if it was indeed just wet. It is, but not before I damn near fell trying to negotiate the sleet covered walk leading to the driveway. I hadnt realized that there was FZDZ. All places that have not been cleared of snow/sleet are an ice rink.
