That's ok though. If I can pull off an inch of fluff it's still a ball spike. It's been my target since we started tracking this event 35 months ago. WxMan1 Posted December 8, 2013 Share Posted December 8, 2013 I noticed the EC yesterday did a pretty good job with that current finger band going nw and n of me, at least the high-res EC output I can see at work. These bands are tricky. It's all about having the available moisture and lift in that dendritic growth zone (~ -15C). When your south of that, your sounding may very well be below freezing all the way up, but instead of dendrites you're getting needled to death.
