Simply amazing band over my old hometown area (Wash Twp in Gloucester County).  We usually get more up here in Metuchen, but not today - wow.  Snowing lightly up here with a dusting on the ground.  Hoping to eke out an inch or two before the sleet, then rain.

These are the best kind of storms, the selfish part of me is pissed I missed out on the N DE snows etc, but to get 4-5" like I have was great

I got out of a hockey game at 11:30 in Newark DE and it was pouring snow.  Took me almost 90 minutes to drive 12 miles back to Wilmington.  Roads were beyond horrendous.  Obviously a difficult forecast but what a bust to the upside for us finally.  It took people on our team nearly 4 hours to get back to Philly and parts of Delco.

Yeah....seems like we are getting the heaviest of the day...or at least matching the heaviest of the day.   Will do a measurement in another 30 mins or so.....I guess I will have to use the snow blower.....Glad I tuned it up last weekend.

Big time sleet/graupel mix here in inland of AC.  Temp is finally going up, albeit much slower than I expected.  Have about 3 inches of snow on the ground. Major surprise for me, I was expecting a cold rain for most of the duration.

Yeah it looks like it'll be light and piddly for a while til some steadier precip moves back in later on, probably well after dark.

1.3" back to light snow and precipitation breaking up not much left to the west now it does appear to be a lull. My thinking is when the precipitation builds back from the south late evening it will be sleet to freezing rain
