Sorry about the below - I did a measurement at 3pm and actually at 2.3" - but looks like some heavy bands to my SW about to roll through so should push past the 3" mark shortly

Temp at 24.9

Heaviest snow so far today here in NW Chester County PA likely approaching the 3" mark was at 1.5" at 2pm
Temp at 25.1

The disparity between nw chester and nw bucks is crazy in winter snowfalls been measuring here for five winters

About the same temp/snow here right now.  Don't worry about 5 years, that's a really small sampling.  Go back to the "Millennium Storm".....yeah you did well on that one :)  (west/southwest of you got jack in that one.)  It all equals out over a lifetime in this area.  North/higher will always average more, but the "winner" of each storm and even entire seasons varies a lot.

There's a back-edge rapidly approaching now, so the super heavy snow will not last more than another... 2 hours at most.   More like an hour

2 more hours of what we had from noon to 130 would put PHL in the running for 10-12 if the observer gets out and takes measurments before evening
