RedSky
Ice buildup would be a bad thing. Have a number of dying ash trees just looking for an excuse. Not sure the normally cold areas N&W of philly get above freezing before dawn
MacChump
6.75" in Concord Township, PA - an awesome event. Roads were rough, warm ground underneath seemed to help make a nice layer of ice on main roads with the heavy snow rates. There may be enough snow to survive the rain tomorrow and stick around for the rest of the week. Lights look good with snow on the ground!hi neighbor...I measured between 7-8 inches in various spots of the yard, also in concord township...what a great storm... Doesn't looks like much of it will get into Berks. Won't be too disappointed if we miss out on the fzrn.

KamuSnow
hi neighbor...I measured between 7-8 inches in various spots of the yard, also in concord township...what a great storm... Howdy...the 6.75" measurement was on the roof of the car before cleaning it off - not exactly a snow board, but a good number I think. Yeah, the post office here is Glen Mills, but location is about 3 miles SW of there, which can make a difference on days like yesterday, so I tried to refine it a bit. WebBreaker63
Time lapse of the snow back home, a little jumpy but kinda neat to watch http://www.wunderground.com/webcams/famartin1/2/video.html?month=12&year=2013&filename=2013128.mp4 Cool -- My son who goes to TCNJ said they recieved about 3" - Where I am at in Toms River got around 6" (see photo -not official - some compression) - Now I am in N MD (work) with the next system.... WSW in MD was downgraded to WWA - 3-5" about what everyone is saying for the region...
Heisy
How crazy is it in this day an age that in a short span of 6 hours Newark DE went from barely expecting any snow to getting a foot. That is why I love weather. I don't think I'd enjoy it as much if we could forecast storms perfectly.
